Out of all the Pokemon she saw in Blackthorn, she never thought she'd see one that looked like a snow-covered tree. Especially not in the middle of summer. Hell, she really hadn't seen much snow growing up in Konoha. (Land of Fire implies a much warmer climate than what the Land of Water has to the north...) But when Aoki summoned a hailstorm at the start of their battle to capture, that sealed Kushina's desire to catch her. Luckily with a fire-heavy team, it was a very short match. After some study of her weaknesses though, she put Aoki away for the time being since she was training to go against a flying-type gym. And despite the ice moves, her grass-side still carries the typical weakness to flying moves. Soon... Aoki will have her day and shine like the murdertree she is.
